  • Is Gen's Corner LLC a scam?
    We are 100% real and trustworthy. Gen's Corner LLC is a genuine business that partners with Arise Virtual Solutions, which is a reputable work-from-home platform that provides services to Fortune 500 companies. Arise Virtual Solutions was founded in 1977 and has a long history of success.
  • How much will I get paid?
    Earnings vary based on the client you serve. Our agents earn an average of $13-$17 per hour, excluding any additional incentives or performance bonuses. Our partners are paid on the 1st and 15th of every month. If either of these days falls on a weekend or holiday, payment will be made on the next business day. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits. Gen's Corner LLC will not deduct taxes from your pay or provide benefits such as medical or dental. Instead, you will receive a 1099 form for tax purposes each year.
  • How many hours a week can I work?
    As an independent contractor at Gens Corner, the amount of hours and the days you want to service is entirely up to you, allowing you to tailor your workload to your schedule and needs. However, the earnings you make will depend on the client you choose and the number of hours you choose to work. If you wish to work more than 40 hours per week, we suggest joining two clients. Most clients require a minimum of 15 hours per week, which must be met to avoid termination. Whether you choose to work part-time or full-time is entirely up to you. Some agents use our program as a part-time job and work only 15-20 hours per week, while others utilize it as their primary source of income and work over 60 hours per week with multiple clients.
  • What will my position be?
    Companies often outsource their customer service agents, and we at Gens Corner have partnered with Arise Virtual Solutions to provide this service. As an inbound customer service representative, some of your main tasks will be to respond to customer inquiries and requests. Depending on the client, you may also assist customers with various tasks, such as placing online or in-store orders, making travel plans, scheduling appointments, addressing technical issues, and more. By joining Gen's Corner LLC, you will be entering into a business-to-business relationship. You will NOT be an employee of Gen's Corner LLC. As a Customer Service Provider (CSP), you are an independent contractor and are responsible for your own equipment, schedule, benefits, and taxes.
  • Can I work ANYWHERE?
    Yes, as long as you are 18 years or older, a citizen of the United States, and live within the country, you can work from almost anywhere in the US. However, currently, Arise is not accepting agents from California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, or Wisconsin.
  • Is there opportunity to grow within the company?
    Yes. Top performing agents may have the opportunity to move into quality assurance and other facilitator roles.
  • Will I be paid for training?
    Many clients offer an Earn While You Learn phase of certification where you are paid for certification calls as soon as you begin taking them toward the end of training. Special pricing is also available for military agents. You will be an independent contractor and not an employee, so like other types of trade school training, you will be responsible for your instructor led, online certification course. The certification course may last anywhere between 2-6 weeks.
  • Will Gen's Corner LLC be giving me my own computer to service?
    No, as an independent contractor, you will need to provide your own equipment for work, including a computer or laptop, a reliable high-speed internet connection, a telephone or headset, and a quiet workspace. You can find more information about the specific requirements on the company's website.
  • How do I get started?
    To get started, we will arrange a one-on-one meeting with you to register you on the Arise platform. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be required to undergo a computer check, a voice and language assessment, a background check, and possibly a drug test depending on the client's requirements. Once you have successfully passed these qualifications, you will need to complete a questionnaire to ensure that you possess the necessary customer service skills before commencing the training. During the training, you will be placed in a classroom with an instructor and other agents like yourself who will assist you in preparing for your initial call. After completing the training and obtaining certification, you will be able to select your preferred service intervals using Arise's user-friendly calendar and work for the client during the hours and days of your choosing. There is a $30 background check fee when you start which is your responsibility. The client training fee can range from $0 to $40 and is your responsibility. These fees will be paid to Arise Virtual Solutions, not Gen's Corner LLC. Additionally, there is a IBO fee. This fee will only be deducted automatically from your pay if you are earning revenue.
